More Drama and the Cutest Damn Baby

Just working working working hard lately.

In some random great wonderful news (and I thought the drama had finally subsided...) we were robbed last Friday. There was nothing we could do....we had the house locked (multiple locks on each door). You can see the scuffs on the door frame where they tried to use a crow bar or something to pry the door open. When that didn't work, they completely destroyed the door handle itself. It was crushed, almost like someone had used a set of vice grips on it. Then they used that to open the door enough to cut the chain on the chain lock.

They stole my brand new washing machine. Damnit. They also got my cd player, dvd player, vcr, playstation 2 (with all of my games), some of the old WWII stuff we had inherited from Tim's grandpa, and our lock box which contained Owen's savings account info and his social security card.

So...trying to cut through all of the red tape to get a new copy of his birth certificate so that I can get him a new social security card....the jerks at the social security office told us that they can't issue him a new number unless there is proof of fraud on his...so I had to shell out the big bucks to put a monitor on his credit report to see if someone tries to open credit cards or use his name for anything like that.

I thought that we had really put it in a safe place. I thought that it was more likely for my purse to get stolen or tim to lose his wallet than for our lock box to be taken. Guess I was wrong.

On another note...we went and got our new fridge and stove for the house. So at least some things are falling into place.

And we finally found a babysitter for Owen. She acutally used to cut my hair when I was a little girl...and now she runs a daycare here in town. So...I'm comfortable with her and I know that Owen is doing good.

We went to Freedom on Saturday and I got to see some of the people that I haven't seen in a long time. Sorry to say that Nichole wasn't one of them...I couldn't find her anywhere. But I did see Danielle...and she looks great!! So much healthier and happier. I'm so proud of you girl!

And...I have such a beautiful baby boy. Check Him Out!

Yay!
