Ashley's Loveable List of Lifelong Goals

It's a rainy rainy day here today. Owen slept almost all night, and then woke up around five for his bottle. Thank goodness my body's adjusting to this well, lol. I guess I've always thrived on little sleep. Definitely putting that assumption to the test.

Tim is getting sick, with god knows what right now. Luckily he had today off, so he could lay in bed and recuperate. I know that he's not really adjusting well to the hard part of being a dad, yet. Even though it's been four months, he still has a hard time being as patient as I am. I guess that's expected. He just can't wait until Owen is big enough to really do father-son stuff. He already went out and bought him a bunch of little John Deere tractors and cars to play with.

I keep it in the back of my mind that there are still things that I want and need to do in my life. So, in the interest of informing myself, and you as well, I've come up with the list:

Ashley's Lovable List of Lifelong Goals
I don't know why it's lovable...I was just feeling the "L" sound.

#1. Get a degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Management
#2. Go to Costa Rica for a rainforest adventure. (Yes...I'm serious about that one...really. I want to go.)
#3. Have a small, simple wedding (instead of just a courthouse thing...) I'd like to dance and drink and have a grand old time. Of course, with a legitamite bachelorette party...I didn't get one of those...
#4 Take a cruise.
#5. Cure cancer. (...as if I could ever do that...I'm definitely not expecting to ever fulfill that one..)
#6. Ride the world's best roller coaster. Actually, make that the world's 5 best roller coasters...(that way I could order them myself..)
#7. Watch my sister graduate from college. Not only my sister. Watch my son and myself graduate from college. THAT's what I'm talking about.
#8. Raise a gentle, handsome, chivalrous son, one who has manners, and knows the difference between right and wrong, how people should be treated, how the world works, and how to survive in that world.
#9. Spend a whole year committing to recycling. I can never seem to get in the groove of it, and that's my fault.
#10. Learn to do an elaborate formal dance routine. We're talking a sexy tangoe or sophisticated waltz...just so I know that i can.
#11. Swim with a dolphin AND with a shark. Not at the same time, preferable.
#12. Learn to ski. Both on water and snow.

And that's all I really have for now. Of course, as I remember things..you will be dutifully informed. :) Thanks so much for being here.
